Reception:

By the end of the foundation year, the class teacher will identify children to be monitored in Year 1.

Year 1:

By October half term, following a review of Baseline Assessment, the Reception and Year 1 teachers will identify children who are a First Concern.

Year 2:

By the end of Year 1, July projection shows children who are not expected to attain 2C in end of year Key Stage 1 SATs in Maths and/or English.

Year 3:

By end of Year 2, children who do not attain 2B in SATs in Maths and/or English.

Year 4:

By end of Year 3, children who did not attain 2A in Year 3 Optional SATs in Maths and/or English.
