PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

The school has a very active Parent Teacher Association, which makes significant contributions to the ethos of the school. The parents, teachers and pupils work in partnership for the benefit of the school community as a whole.

The PTA is affiliated to the National Association of Parent Teacher Associations.

The PTA organises a wide range of events for the children and the parents. Some of these are fundraising events (Christmas Fair, Summer Fair, Sponsored Walk); some are information events (Building Schools for the Future discussion, New parents evenings, Indian evenings); some of them are just for the fun of it events (wine and cheese evenings, music quiz evenings, bingo nights).

Regular committee meetings of the P.T.A. are held in school. If you wish an item to be placed on the agenda of any of these meetings please contact either a P.T.A. rep., one of the parent governors (see Governing Body Page) or the headteacher.
